Almost all of the listed qualities...Hello Kenneth!<br /><br />Almost all of the listed qualities of a healthy relationship come naturally to me (well, I guess you'd have to fact-check with my partner). <br /><br />The one that gives me trouble to this day is intimacy. I fully recognize it as my own personal shortcoming in terms of maintaining a healthy relationship.<br /><br />It was during my life of a substance abuse that I was as close to capable as I have come to embracing intimacy. It's something that is sorely in need of my attention.<br /><br />One thing that isn't addressed in the list that is important to me is independence. Having space, independent interests, and personal goals is important to me. Developing the skills to accept and support that sort of independence has gone a long way to keeping both me and my partner happy.<br /><br />Great post, Kenneth.
