My Values are on My Mind



“Values are the definition of our actions in life” 


When you have free time to think about whatever it is that you want to think about, what usually determines what you choose to focus on?

To answer that, consider some things that you may spend time thinking about:

Perhaps you enjoy thinking about your family? Your plans for the future? Your career? Your favorite sport? Vacations? Goals?

What do all of these things have in common? Most likely whatever it is you choose to focus on when you can, is driven by your VALUES – What is important to you. It is true that what we value, we think about. It is also true that what we think about impacts our feelings and our choices of behavior. With that in mind, it is important to recognize that it is our values which drive so many of our choices.
